Looking for a rear differential for my '69 280S, located in the midwest but shipping doesn't bother me. Let me know if you have anything.

Thats GORGEOUS. I have a full rear and axles from my '82 240D, but I dont' think that will fit

Since you're on that path, you might want to consider a complete rear subframe, w/diff, axles, and brakes from a W116 or 126. V8 cars have a diff with a 210mm ring gear. The 116 & 126 rears have better suspension geometry than the 108.
