WANT TO BUY: LUG BOLTS W123 LONGER TYPE
Hello,
Looking to buy the longer type of lug bolts for the W123 (ones for Bundt Rims, and not the lightweight alloy 5.5 rims). I need all 20. I finally got my AMG rims with tires mounted and I need to install them. The short lug bolts are only holding the rims/ tires on by a thread or two, so I need to swap them out before I can move the car around. I have 20 of the smaller ones, and if you want a trade, fine, or cash. Please PM with pricing. All 20 will fit inside a flat rate box, USPS, small box at $6.00 bucks. Thanks in advance. |

I believe the threaded shaft is in the ballpark of 28 or 29mm ...

What is the overall length difference? Don't they also have a longer bolt head?

I will measure them when I get them in. It looks like the ones I currently have need to be around 1/2" longer to work.

Quote:
for bundt wheels ................................29.5mm for pressed steel & aluminum wheels ... 21mm The height of the bolt head, and hence the overall length, does not enter into the wheel retention capability of the bolt; it is simply cosmetic. |

At least two of those should look familiar. Got two different ones. Got a spare now. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/333744-sleeper-part-deux-27.html#post3511223
