I believe someone had a #22 head recently. Willing to ship from across the pond. Do a search.

need OM603 head

I have one all rebuilt and ready to go is guaranteed and never overheated, was purchased from a fellow Forum member. I need $700 to break even.
If you can wait till next week I will be in the passenger seat of a truck towing a race car driving 101 to SoCal near Simi Valley/Chatsworth. Contact me via PM if you are interested and can wait that long as I would be hard pressed to ship it.

Thumbs up SUCCESS !

Seek and ye shall find .

I did and did ~ a $35 cylinder head with valve cover and un damaged oil pan off a wrecked 1987 300SDL , same year and color as my Brother's car ! .

The cam was worn out , not flat but I tossed it away in the junkyard after taking the head off the engine .

I had the head pressure tested (sweating and fingers crossed !) and it's fine so they're doing a routine valve job on it and will install the cam off the bad head along with a full set of the Mercedes up graded tappet buckets that ere supposedly superior (for what they cost they'd better be !) .

More to come , I'm still waiting on Mercedes Classic Center to deliver the tappet buckets .

FWIW , I am *VERY* appreciative of the help given here but $700 + labor co$t for a cylinder head on a $2,000 car is hard to swallow for a po'boy .

Stay tuned .
