Predicated on the assumption that such a thing exists, and/or was ever produced.
What OE installation would be a source? |

Is that limited slip differential?

yes LSD= Limited Slip Differential.
I have a 2:65LSD in my W123. I beleive there could be other flavors. The 2:65 is rare ... the one you're looking for must be super rare ... |

There was a diff offered in the 190 or 124 chassis but never in the 123 chassis. The internal spaces in the two diffs are interchangible so the guts can be switched from one to the other.
For an experienced rear end man its not difficult. I had one built up in a 3.69 ratio which required a 10 mm spacer on the ring gear. But the 124 posi diffs are not common so are expensive and hard to find.
