WTB OM617 Crankshaft Gear
Hi, I'm rebuilding a 1982 turbo diesel engine and looking for a crankshaft gear PN 6170520003. I would prefer NOS but will consider a good used one. Thanks, Scott

Wow I thought that would be easy to find.
Well it is still out there according to many sites but - wow (again) - what a price. Good luck with the search.

I've got a turbo 617 parts engine and a 617 N/A parts engine. I'll ck and see if I've got the gear. Do you think the same gear is used on turbo or N/A?

...next "logical" step might be to think that perhaps two non turbo cogs side by side could be done but I'm guessing life in Mercedes land isn't that simple!
