WTB W124 Zebrano Shift Console for Manual Transmission

Hi, looking for a replacement shifter console for my 300CE which is getting a manual transmission to replace the automatic.

Sedans and coupes have the same console. I think all W124s are interchangeable in size/fit, just a few differences in number of switch cutouts and size of the shifter hole.

Wagons use the same one as well. I will warn you that you might also need to use the ashtray from your donor car if you have the later style ashtray. When I did my manual swap in the 91 300TE the shifter trim didn't fit with the later style ash tray so I swapped it as well. The later shifter trim has a small cutout a the front that the early ones didn't need.

I don't have an ashtray anymore, so that shouldn't be a problem. It's space was needed for a boost pressure/afr gauge. But that's good to know, thanks, as I do consider moving the gauge and putting the ashtray back from time to time -- I miss the lighter as a power source.

You don't need the whole trim piece from a manual car. Just the plastic ring that snaps in to it from underneath to secure the shifter boot.

Part# 1246830306 from mercedes dealer - a whopping $4.90
