Part Buying Suggestions on the Forums
A few observations over the years when buying parts on the forums:
1. Get pictures -- and get them posted on the forum(s) so everyone can see them. Not sure why someone would opt to have it any other way. 2. Make sure to always go through PayPal and NEVER gift money. 3. Make sure the parts you purchase are fully protected under the PayPal protection plan. If not, you'll end up getting stuck paying postage back and forth. This keeps the Sellers of the world honest brokers.

Personally I think photos should be a mandatory inclusion with all "for sale" classifieds posts.
There are very few people who can't take and upload an electronic image, if they are able to participate on an Internet forum.

And when one advertised and someone inquired about the part availability, they never respond. Looks like they post an ad and then go fishing...

Not sure if this should be made a "Sticky" or not, but keep in mind that if you buy a part and that part does not conform to what was represented by the seller, you are stuck and forum members are not here for eternity ...
Remember getting pictures ON THE FORUM where many eyes can witness them really avoids many issues and NOT gifting money will create some protections.

I've dealt with a few online forums such as this,and those are the golden rules,great advice.I have yet to have a problem ever because I always follow them.
