FS: used OM616 long block
I don't want any money for this. I just want it out of my garage.
The engine has 304,000 miles on it. I swapped an OM617 in my 240D so I no longer need this around. Here is a video of it running https://youtu.be/mlUf-treLqw This was not up to operating temperature when the video was taken. Some times it would idle rougher than in the video but not sure if that was attributed to the main engine mounts which were shot, or the T style mount which had completely disintegrated. At higher RPM it ran just fine with no excessive smoke. I had just rebuilt the vacuum pump, and installed monarch nozzles so I've decided to removed those along with the alternator, which is why it's listed as a long block. If there's interest I can include the old injector nozzles along with the housings. Location is Travelers Rest, SC |
