WTB: W201 third brake light assembly, black
Looking to purchase a complete OEM 190E third brake light assembly in black color.
It appears to have been removed from my car when the previous owner had the rear window tinted and they never put it back. Thank you for viewing.

I just replaced the one on my W124 (same light). I went the new route with all the used ones I found being sun baked and brittle. Part number is 00182041567101 for a ULO brand. I paid around 80-90 dollars if I recall.

These things are indeed brittle, I have literally broken one just picking it up! I happen to have one from the junkyard. Haven't tested it or attempted to remove the back cover but I'll sell it cheap if you're interested.

Did not realize they are all that brittle. I tried to pull one from the junkyard as well but it fell apart. I just assumed it was a bad one. On a lot of them I noticed that the bulb partially melted the red lens.
Please PM me a shipped price. Thank you.

PM sent.
Bubbling is pretty common, it's too bad they didn't have LED bulbs back then. There must be some sort of magic spray to strengthen the plastic, or at least a trick to removing the cover without breaking.
