W123 4 speed transmission swap parts

Hello,

I'm cleaning out my garage and happen to have most of the the stuff for a manual swap.

I have:
SPEC clutch pressure plate and disk. (3000mi of use)
240D flywheel
716.210 aluminum 4 speed transmission unknown mileage
New shift rods
Clutch slave cylinder in unknown condition.
release fork
I also have a 300D drive shaft if someone doesn't want to cut theirs.

I bought the trans on ebay and used it for about 3000 miles. It shifts fine but the speedo drive gear was broken. I opened the back of the case in hopes of replacing the broken plastic speedo gear but when I called the dealer they told me the part was NLA. I ended up fixing the plastic gear with a screw shank and epoxy. I can see the speedo gear spin when I turn the input shaft but can't estimate how long it might work for. Replaced gasket, rear main seal and installed new nut on output shaft while I had the thing apart.

Looking to get $550 for the all of it. Local pickup in Greenville South Carolina area.

Still have this stuff? my 85 300TD automatic is getting sluggish in first. thinking id prefer the manual. Any other insights about my hesitation off the line? Drives great once its moving, just slow to get going. Thx

I've still got all of it available.

I've got an 85 300TD also! Not sure why only first would be slow. Have you started a thread in the Diesel Discussion section?

Search the forum -- if memory serves, this is often a simple K-1 or K-2 kit, installable from the outside! Can't remember which, tho.....

And BTW, whoever gets this, AND gets it installed......well, let's just say I hate you, but just a little. Have wanted to do this with one of our w123s or another since we got into this addiction.......

You know what would be nice? If I could put my engine hoist and engine stand in the corner of the garage where these transmission parts, and my 240D Diff are.

Bumping this old thread $475 for all of it. Plus a Diff (3.69 I believe) from a manual 1983 240D and axles too! Diff is the one on the left.
