Can't seem to find anything like this one. Anyone know where I can find one. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b00d5af61b.jpg

Looks pretty generic. I wouldn't limit your search to Mercedes.

WTF? All seems pretty irrelevant to the topic. Don't you think? I'd be interested in learning if there are any "proper" vintage racks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

i'd be curious if there are any roof racks that are more aesthetically fitting than the black thule or yakima gutter racks, for my white 85 300D sedan...

I got the one pictured in the first post from an eBay seller who doesn't have any left. I think it's made in Taiwan. I wish that it clamped onto the roof rails instead of only being held on by tension. I found that when in use it would slide backwards so I had to make sure to run a strap under the door frames.
Ones from a Volkswagen may not be wide enough, but with creativity one could be altered to fit. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/0n...n=w800-h600-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/2g...Y=w800-h600-no |

Lots of them on TheSamba.com, a vintage VW website/forum. Look in classifieds new parts section.

thanks, they look nice, but the clearance looks a little excessive for a w123,
also more for storing luggage, not so much surfboard, so i guess it depends what you're looking to store, https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/search.php?submit=yes&type=text§ion%5B%5D=70&keywords=rack |
