Bought it with a rumored 15k on the head from a lovejoy vegoil lawsuit. Was cleaned and pressure tested. Still on engine, so it will need to be pulled.

Lovecraft was a veggie oil conversion company. IIRC they ran a single tanks system without heated lines and it compromised the filtering ability. They ruined plenty of good engines.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a lawsuit against them that ended up buying a few new engines.

I do but there is a guy in line waiting. Had trouble getting to the engine in my garage, have access now, just need time to pull head. Hope to get to it next weekend and I'll post update then.

The big goldenrod filters had a heated head- the engine coolant heater line ran thru it. the first car I bought-I flew out to Burbank, went to santa maria - picked up the car -up hwy 1 to Big Sur and before driving it home I went to lovecraft on sunset and picked up that part.
