1987 mercedes 300D injection pump only 80K miles
Pump was removed and replaced 25 years ago and stored on shelf because mechanic did not know about the plugged catalytic converter recall problem. Replacement injection pump was installed and car still did not run, and after that point, mechanic realized car must be towed to dealership for catalytic converter recall. After which, replacement pump stayed in car and the original sat on shelf for many years. pump still look like new. $950 for an injection pump which was baby-ed for 80K miles.

If you get that much I may part out my 87 300D. I'd make half of my listing price on my 87. Let me know how much you get.

U can find the whole car for $1000 bucks... |
$950 is the cost of a rebuild, for a few hundred more you can get a pump capable of 400+hp

Exactly....

It doesn't help the OP that that very same pump often sells on this forum for $150-175 on this forum in good condition. A used pump is a used pump, mileage doesn't matter - it's still a used pump.
