F.S- My complete (huge) hoard of 123 cars and parts in So. Cal.

My son is going to be buying my home in Hesperia, CA. I will need to move everything somewhere else, and the largest part of that everything is my hoard of 123 parts and cars. I have a couple sheds full of parts, as well as two garage bays full. I also have 6 parts cars (2 of them coupes), a coupe project car (near perfect blue interior except dash), and a few misc. parts (Ponton bumpers, 116 body, 124 body). I also have a 1990 300CE (124) and a 2.5 Turbo engine to make it a 300CD. I would like to sell it all as one lot, or maybe even the parts/project cars separately. I am motivated, so come look and make an offer. The photos are a small sample of the cars/parts.

Project cars

1990 300CE, 1982 300CD The CD sorta runs, the low mileage engine was removed, and a worn out wagon engine was put in. The interior is near perfect, except for the dash. The 300CE is a Diesel engine swap project. I have a donor 300D that will supply the engine and wire harness. Sorry, I don't have a vented right fender.

It's a pity to see that W116 in disrepair. Is that fixable?

I'd love to rescue that 300CE. Time and money were an issue at the time. Plus the lack of faith I had sitting in a car that was sitting for awhile. A tow across the country would rack up quick, and my AAA wouldn't cover it.

The photo of the 116 is old, it has many more missing parts. It was my favorite car at the time. It was the smoothest idling OM617 I have ever experienced. I sold it to a friend, and he put a bunch more miles on it before wrecking it. I got it back, and started selling parts.....Rich

Darn I wish you were closer to me. I don't think I could afford to get it all here.

Although it would probably take an entire 53' trailer filled with everything except the whole cars, a couple trips with a big U-haul might do it too.

Holy cow, those W111 sedan bumpers sure are nice! Also, that's sad about the W116.
