hey everyone, had an emergency come up last month and I'm out of hoarding parts and having to retire my 300D. the following parts will be available at a multifamily yard sale i will be at on SUNDAY APRIL 22 2018 in OAKLAND CALIFORNIA. the location will be on 40th street nearish to macarthur bart. i believe i've priced these things below even forum friend prices:

all parts are for early W123 (parts came from '81 300D and '77 240D)


blower motor for ACC with plastic cage, original, i cleaned it maybe a year ago: $20

blower motor fan speed controller : $20 (could probably haggle on this)
automatic climate control unit, remanufactured on unknown date by "beck tech": $20.*** see notes below
early type sunroof motor: $15
box of 7 mann fuel filters: $5
pair of yellow BOSCH fog lights. 300,000+ miles on them so they have sandblasting, but the yellow is decent and they look and work good on the car at night: $15 for the pair
HELLA H4 "ecode" headlights with maybe at most 3000 miles on them: $25 for the pair
VCV unit: untested, I believe i purchased this thinking the unit on the car was bad but it was vacuum leak elsewhere: $3
mityvac: works, but at one point it sucked up some fluid, i checked the main seal and it seemed ok, but unknown how much life is left. no accessories or pieces, just the pump: $2
various palomino trim pieces: $1 each
wood trim for manual climate control: $1 each
sunroof emergency close bolt: $3
other little relays and trim pieces (seat adjustment knob, vent trim rings) $1-2
palomino screw covers, see pics for condition, clips are not broken: $5 for the pair
lemfoerder rear right side door seal: old stock, been around for a while but the rubber is still soft: $15
passenger side mirror delete kit $3. i might just give this to you if you ask nicely. i have no idea why someone would want to delete the passenger mirror, but here you go
rhino ramps used literally once to change starter: $10
motive power brake bleeder, used only once: $3

***see picts, looks like someone in the past used a bulb slightly too high wattage so theres browning of the plastic but i dont remember this affecting anything at all. the defrost button will pop out slightly too far when other buttons are pressed. i dont know what causes this or if its an easy fix. just a cosmetic thing.

Why don't u just sell me this whole lot for $75 shipped and to hell with the yard sale??

I don't imagine many people are looking for w123 parts at yard sales

its for people that live here locally. i just dont want to deal craigslist and having 30 people come over or flake on me. i've made deals with local forum members before. also it's the bay area.... lots of people drive mercedes diesels here. also why would i sell it for drastically less than already low asking prices?

you want to me part with a couple hundred dollars worth of parts, pay for shipping, take the time to box it and pack it and ship it to you, which with the weight is gonna be $25-30. so you want me to make less than $50 on it. this is so offensive and contrary to the mission of this parts subforum.
