Can you post part number? I've got one off of an inline six (i think) 350SDL engine. It came off of around a 91/92. model.

The oil pan from an inline 6 won’t fit an inline 5 engine

Thanks for the help!
But unfortunately the pans are different like Jim said.
This really sucks I've gone through so much to get my '91 running.. when I was installing the new engine the chain slipped on my engine hoist and cracked the pan on the engine.. now I can't find one anywhere.

Bummer.. a junkyard 3 hours away had a 87 190D but they wouldn't sell me just the pan. Would've been $400 for me to get the engine, then they crushed it a few weeks later and got scrap price.. I offered $150 for the pan which seemed fair..

You could always have it welded. I have done a couple, and they worked out just fine.

I have one from my '87 190Dt. But I won't be able to get to it for a while.

I got this resolved guys, sorry should have updated. Forgot about a local guy to me that has a few 60x engines, he had a pan.

Doing a HG job on his 601 powered Astro van right now actually too!

That is too cool! I have had two Astro's (both bought new), and liked them a lot. I was not into 'Benz Diesels then, but if I was, I might have had a Diesel powered Astro as well.....Rich

Yea this thing is seriously neat.
He picked a great chassis to start with, and he did a great job on the swap. Said it gets between 35 to 40mpg, and it's 5 speed!
If anyone in the FL area needs a 601 or a 602 n.a. engine he's got a few stockpiled he wants to get rid of.
