We are unexpectedly moving on a pretty quick timeframe, and I need to unload a 617NA motor. I picked up a parts car (1978 300CD) a while back, for parts other than the motor. The motor has been pulled. Odometer shows 163,xxx mi. I don't know compression numbers. Motor comes as a long-block with injection pump.

I need it gone by mid-September. Not really asking for money here -- I want to see the motor live for another day, and not go to the crusher. If you can come to Cleveland and pick it up, that's good enough for me.

I've been examining the motor more closely in the hopes I can find it a home. Found this nice little badge on it -- it's a MB factory rebuilt motor. I called the Classic Center, but between the VIN and rengine ebuild number, they couldn't provide much insight. Still, it's a rebuild.
