WTB: Front Windshield Chrome Moulding Surround Trim for W123 300 TD
Hey all!
I just bought a 1980 300 TD Wagon. I have never owned an old Mercedes so I am new to everything! My front windshield seal is suuuupppper dry rotted. Luckily I live in San Diego so the only water that has gotten in has been from me washing it. I bought a lightly used OEM seal from Craigslist and contacted a local glass place to install it for me. I had everything lined up and then realized that my wagon did not have the chrome trim that it should... Now I need to buy the chrome piece before I can continue. Holler at me if you have one OR any leads on how I could get one for cheaper than the $750 ones on eBay. Thanks!! -Patrick |

Should be the same as a sedan...but not for a coupe. If you find them in a yard take a lot of time to gently cut them out of the old rubber vs pulling them out. They bend very easily are almost impossible to straighten.
The rubber gets put on the glass, the metal strips into the rubber and then the assembly into the opening. Good luck!!!

I've got a 83 300d sedan that's nearly parted out, and the windshield is still in it if your still looking.
