w126 v8 axle & axle hub
 

greetings,
I'm looking for right rear axle and axle hub for a 1991 560sec. After talking with MB the axle is no longer available. the hub is still available, but if I can find a used one still in good shape I'd rather go that route. any w126 will work as long it's from a V8 car.

Send the old one to cvj reman in denver. They will either ship you a rebuilt one from stock or rebuild yours and return it. They only use mercedes cores.

Only way to fly for rebuilt half shafts.

thanks for the info. I should have been more detailed in the question. The cv joints are in good shape, the problem is with the splines, they're rusty and galled. Do you know if they will replace it?

The outer race of the outboard CV joint, and the splined shaft are one piece.
If a rebuilder has an outboard joint/shaft available, that is what would be supplied.
The wheel hub/flange would be treated as a separate part.

Have a look on car-part.com this searches participating salvage yards. Be sure to call the yard directly as many have not figured out e mail.
