Why not just buy it online from MB of Naperville or one of the other dealers that sell parts online?
Used? Do you think that would be any better than the URO junk? |

I have been told they are NLA from Mercedes. I have re-used windshield rubber before with good success. It all depends on the method to remove the windshield.

I've actually been using a URO windshield seal for almost 10 years now and its still in very good condition. I do keep my car in a garage and under a cover so YMMV. It does seem that the URO branded seals aren't as questionable as the rest of their products.

The problem that I have had in the past with the Uro rubber is that the bright molding does not fit correctly.

Search for the OEM MB front windshield rubber with your VIN on https://www.mbpartsprime.com/ . I like buying from this site because their prices are cheaper than at the dealer.

Hi BWhitmore, how is the molding not fitting in the seal correctly? Would you happen to have any photos?
We sell about 300 of these seals annually and haven't heard of this issue, but we're happy to have our engineers look into it if you can point them in the right direction. |

I no longer own the W123 car with the URO seal. The bright trim molding would not fit correctly. The only remedy was to replace the seal with a genuine Mercedes seal. Thanks for asking, my opinion of your products has gone up because you seem to want to correct the situation. Thanks.
