Set of (4) 17" AMG Monoblock Aero II Wheels non-staggered
Here's my square (non-staggered) set of rare AMG Monoblock Aero II wheels, pn # HWA1244010302 ( 1244010302 ). All 4 are size: 17x7.5 ET42
With offset of ET42 (and part number 124) these were designed for W124 chassis and can be mounted directly onto any W124 vehicle without needing to roll fender lips or add fender spacers. The wheels will, of course, also fit many other Mercedes or VW's with the same 66.56mm bore diameter and 5x112 bolt pattern. I intended to put these on my 91 300D, but I need to make some purchases for another business project and won't be able to buy tires etc for these. Wheels have been refinished and checked for straightness and adjusted if needed and are in great overall shape. Powder coat used was Cardinal 'Metallic Silver Gloss 30' base coat with a Cardinal clear coat on outside face. There are a few minor surface variations and imperfections in the finish which are unnoticeable beyond 2 feet. There's a slight textured surface near some tire bead areas which does not affect sealing. $1275 obo If local, p/u in Peoria, AZ, or via ebay link below. I'd also be willing to take a check/zelle and ship to forum member for a discount (avoid ebay's fees). a beautiful set of wheels they are!
probably a necessity for use with a big brake upgrade. I suppose they were off a real AMG maybe a 500E? DDH

Yeah, looks like they'd definitely fit some larger brakes. These have date stamps of '97 or '98 on them and a '124' part number, so I think they might have been an option in the Mercedes wheel upgrade catalog in the late nineties. They would have been maybe something to which existing W124 owners could upgrade their wheels.
There's a Mercedes wheel fitment site which shows the sizes for each chassis. These match the sizes mentioned for 17" wheels for W124 Mercedes-Benz Fitting Chart and Wheel Fitment Guide | Alloy Wheels Direct I think they are the same original AMG wheels as linked to in that chart, (part # B66020086 - NLA). 17" AMG II wheels in Standard Silver with High Sheen Rim Flange - Alloy Wheels Direct (321259) |
