Anyone have an OM606 they'd like to part with?
I'm thinking I want to pick up an om606 turbo as a potential project if the price is right. I wouldn't need or want a transmission. Wondering whats out there. Ebay doesn't have much, and didn't see any 300D's for sale with a quick local search.

I'm thinking I want to put a 606 in my w123. I've been watching too many dieselpumpuk videos. They make an adapter for mating the 606 with a six speed manual ZF transmission. A 6 Speed W123 with 250 wheel horsepower would be pretty sweet.

I have a turbocharged om603 engine if you're open to consider that, but it's not going to be cheap and also, shipping will be pretty expensive since I'm in California. The turbocharged om606 are going to be extremely hard to find in the states and not cheap either...they are much more common in the UK and Europe.....
If you're dead set on finding an om606, you'd have to buy a complete rusted out car, and even those are getting tough to find!

I'm going to try to hold out for a lower mileage car. (I know, hard to find) Once and a while a salvage one will pop up on copart or a cheap one on facebook's marketplace.
