Some folks asked if this fits other cars than a W123. I do not know. So, here are the measurements as requested. I can say that the inside of the W123 trunk lid appears symmetrical. Outside of hinge to hinge is 51" as pictured.

It tucks down inside the recess as pictured and measured.

So, you have the overall dimensions of the trunk as pictured on a W123, to include the outside of each hinge to each hinge. The overall dimensions of the triangle as pictured. You have pictures of how it sits inside the lip. You have pictures of the approximate depth it will sit inside the recess. The tough part will be exprapolating those numbers and measurements if your trunk is way different.
