FS: OM616 and OM617 EGR Valve Kit
As pictured, removed from a 1981 300D W123. It was gunky, but after I wiped out much of the yuck, to my surprise it worked well. Pulled a vacuum and the piston moves freely and holds for a few seconds before there's a slight release. However, it will hold its vacuum as it is designed to do. I can post a video of the vaccum pump if someone wants that.
As pictured, all parts necessary to replace your EGR valve. Most of them become stuck closed and are frozen. $50.00 shipped USPS Priority Mail CONUS. |

The tube and brackets are still minty, and all the correct fasteners are included. This is a Pierberg OEM. The new ones you buy do not have the adjustment screw/nut or at least the one I saw on the net which are going for close to $200 shipped do not have them.
The steel tube which is normally toast and the brackets are normally rusted / and the welded nut is broken loose are like new after some clean up. |
