Wanted: Single W108 Chassis 14" Dog Dish Wheel
I have two sets of 14" W108 chassis dog dish wheels, one of which I am using on my W111 220, and one set that I would like to sell. The problem is, I want a spare for my 220, which is why I haven't sold the second set. But, I need the money I'd gain from selling the second set, and no one is going to buy a set of 3 wheels.
I'd like to buy a single dog dish wheel, as pictured below, as a spare. It should be part number 1084000002. I'm after a SUDRAD brand wheel, ideally dated 12/69 so it matches the rest of the ones on the car. The ones I'm selling are Lemmerz brand, and I think 3 of them are dated 1967, and one dated 1969--and that's the one I've been wanting to keep as a spare. But, either a SUDRAD or a Lemmerz wheel would help me toward my goal. Why does brand matter so much? Well, the vent holes are different sizes between manufacturers, and even the shape of the wheel is a bit different. KPZ-made wheels tend to have the smallest vent holes of them all. The SUDRADs have the largest, and Lemmerz are in between. Let me know what you have. Thanks.
