Like this one? I got one too. Contrary to popular belief, they work, just need lube before using. It did get rattly after ~10 uses, but so far I'm still writing these words I wonder if yours is thinner. Because the one pictured doesn't fit R107. |

Spring Compressor
My experience is to use this tool on the front of a w123, you have to just slightly enlarge the hole in the body directly above the space inside the spring. The German one ($600 or something) fits, but these, at least mine, is ever so slightly bigger in diameter. I did get it to work though.
