WTB: W126 interior bits and bobs (namely a Becker and back seat)

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 350SDL and would love to get the interior to a more coherent state. To wit? The front seats are the original leather, but rather oddly, the rear seat is a cloth unit.

I'd love to convert the whole interior to blue, but at this point I'd settle for a gray leather rear seat.

Also, the Becker is missing and, yeah, I'm a stickler for originality. Does anyone have one for sale?

Thanks in advance!

Silly question, but does the cassette deck work? I’m interested.

Also, you apparently worked on this car’s injectors in ~2017ish. Car has only done 2k since.

Is it a 1990 or a 1991 350SDL? It matters for the radio. 1990s have a one-year-only radio and 1991's have a 2-piece radio with the tuner unit in the trunk

Oh, good point! It’s a 91 with the in-trunk tuner. Thanks for the reminder!

If Mark (Greazzer) doesn't have the right radio, I have a couple spare head units, tuner units, and amplifier modules for the 1991's. PM me if you need them.

I search for gray leather on eBay, and here’s my search text. You have a bunch of options for sale.

Search with this string:

gray (300se, 300sel, 420se, 420sel, 560sel, 280se, 280sel, 300sdl, 300sd, 350sd, 350sdl, w126) seat mercedes

Nicely! I just put about ~50 miles on it--it definitely needed an Italian tune-up, but it gets better with each mile. And thanks for checking on that radio.

Fonzi: I do have some options saved on ebay, but I always try to "shop local" on forums, as it were. Plus, I was hoping someone on here would see my desire to switch to an all-blue interior and I could go that route. I appreciate it, though!
