Sugar Bear: Thank you for the seat pictures. We will pass on them.
GLWS!

No problem, and thank you!

rwd4evr: What trans was in it? 2? 3.69 with no overdrive is not ideal at all. To far to scream it at 75mph. I'd be interested in the mounts maybe. I'm going 6 speed manual so ds won't do me any good.

722.608 which had OD 5th on the swap, I can't imagine that carbbed 2.7 liked it with the 4 speed on the highway though.

Here's what the mounts look like, pass side looks like hasn't been modified, drivers has a tab welded on. I'll look to see what engine number they came off of this weekend.

Pan was cut and welded:

If you took any more pictures of how the engine sat in the car, I'd love to see them. My brother is building a w116 with a 606 and 722.6 or possibly ZF 8-speed and we'd love some inspiration.

We're planning on modifying the engine crossmember versus notching an oil pan, I think for a high horsepower build it's best to maintain the original flow characteristics of the pan to reduce the chances of oiling problems.

Yes, OFgear controller for trans and DSL1 from Baldur for engine.

I would agree, best is to leave oil capacity and not modify the pan. Here are the only pictures I captured before the pull, was surprised they held the engine so far back as there was a lot of room between the slim electric fan and first accessory pulleys. Not much room between pan and cross member either.
