The yellow zinc-like finish is still very intact although I am not sure how one would or could clean out the browning from inside the "clear" fuel lines.

The way you clean the brown out of the fuel lines is you don't.
You cut off the old hose and then install new hose. |

I’ve only seen one vendor sell the similar opaque lines and it was in Europe. They are gone. I did buy a few meters back in the day. Do you have a source for the opaque lines?

You don't need special lines. Nylon air brake tubing will work. I think it's either 3/8" or 1/4" O.D., you may want to bring one of the banjo bolts into a hose supply store to test fit. Any industrial hose supply shop will have it. It's maybe $1-3 per foot (or less if you buy in bulk). I forget the exact O.D. but I've used it many times on customer cars to repair these lines. Much better (and cheaper) than buying new from the dealer
