oh, and Frank tells me that this is a coupe not a sedan. It makes a BIG difference on a 280se. There were no less than 12 different "280" models in 71. It helps to be precise.

That's more different still.
The following chassis families have had "280" badges at some point to 1990 (I don't have more recent info handy). Most parts from chassis family to family are not interchangable, not even the "280" badge. 107 108 111 113 114 116 123 126 There was also a g-wagon, but I don't have the chassis type at my fingertips. -CTH |
