i think one of the 3D printed offerings might be your best option. the originals are made out of the most brittle plastic known to man

I’ve found the prefacelift w210 third brake light to be a decent, very few modifications, upgrade. They seem to be a little less brittle, although they are getting long in the tooth as well now..
