WTB Mercedes Coupe Seats

I am looking for mercedes coupe seats preferably palamino color. They could be from a 300CE or whatever as long as they have a button to fold forward. Please email me.

You might try

Potomac German Auto in Maryland (they have a website). They are a huge Benz dismantler and friends have gotten lots of good interior stuff from there. Good luck

Thanks for the advise, I will try them sometime next week.

I am looking for 300CE or R129 SL seats, even SEC seats. Let me know if anyone has them.

Rehashing this OLD tread today because i am indeed looking for an option for replacement seats for my CD.

The passenger side seat is in pretty good shape but the drivers seat is totally past it. Even with some pool noodles inside there is just not enough cushioning or support. Its so bad that I'm experiencing some kind of nerve pain in my buttock from sitting there.

I do realize that the passenger side could be converted to fit on the driver side and there are probably more ways to restore the comfort of the old seat but i'm thinking that a bran new aftermarket seat would be much more comfortable than the original could ever be.

my Question: Dose anyone know of a good option for this???

OR have any other ideas for restoration or another replacement option.

Thanks

Phil

I have coupe seats from my 82 that have good foam but the leather is poor. If you have good tex you might be able to transfer it to my seats.

I have seats from a 1992 300CE in palomino, if that year W124 works for you. No tears or rips in leather.

Located in SoCal.

I've got a never-used W123 coupe seat pad. Mercedes part with tag still attached (I think). I bought it to do a total seat overhaul in my old coupe but the passenger side didn't need it. It's been eating up space in my garage ever since.

It's a foam pad, not horsehair. $50 shipped.

They're not too bad. The leather is in bad shape on the drivers seat but the foam seems good. The car was driven for about ten years by my youngest daughter who weighs like 130 so they have not been too beaten up. I believe there are pictures of them in my for sale ad for the 82 300cd. If not I can take some.

They are nothing to look at but I know how tough it is to find good coupe seats and I don't think the upholstery kits are available for them.

Black coupe seats

I have a pair of black coupe seats from a 300CD. I would say they are excellent, in terms of the quality of the Tex and the support. It's an 1981, so either this car was babied, or the seats were replaced at some point. The folding forward mechanism works well on both.

The one problem with both seats is that I had to cut out the rear bolts to remove them from the parts car. The fronts bolts were fine, and the seat is still attached to the rails. But the rear bolts were rusted to the floorboards, so I had to get out the Dremel. If your original rail assemblies are in good shape, you can easily reuse them. It's pretty straightforward to swap rail assemblies between seats.
