Cool Hengst E121H Oil filter to good home

By pure accident (you can see my thread on the Diesel Discussion board for more details), I became the proud owner of an oil filter for an engine that I have never, and will likely never own.

The filter's new-in-the-package along with the rubber O-ring and various washers, still in the plastic package. I have no use for it, so the first person who asks can have it for the price of shipping (or, if you live in the Bay Area, I can deliver; my goal here is for the filter to wind up in the hands of someone who can make use of it).

I'm pretty sure (not 100% certain, though) that it fits a 280 engine. I did a search on Fastlane for an oil filter for an '80 280SE and the picture of their filter matched this one closely enough that I'm pretty sure it's correct.

E-mailing me may be best, as I don't regularly check this board. Thanks!

It's still here...anyone want it?

Again, there's nothing wrong with it; it just doesn't fit my application...and I'm not trying to make any $$ off of it.

Exclamation

If anyone's interested, I still have the filter.

I didn't realize it before, but I didn't put the part number in the post itself. It's Hengst part number E121H D01

Same terms; I'm not looking for a profit; I just want this filter to go to someone who can make use of it. It's just gathering dust; I'm half-tempted to find a car with a 280 engine and leave the filter on their hood.

Again, please let me know

How much would it cost to send it to 34994?
My 280TE could use it

Looks like FedEx ground would be about $6 to 34994. UPS was actually really high (like $10), and I don't trust the USPS.

It's yours if you want it. Please LMK, thanks!

and drbrandi, *blush* thanks
