WTB: horsehair seat pads (or entire seats) for W116
I need the seat pads for the rear seat and back for a 1980 300SD. Does anyone know of a good source for replacement seat pads? Interested in a source with "reasonable" prices.
As an alternative, I would consider purchasing the entire rear seat from a junk W116 as a replacement in Bamboo MB-Tex. Hopefully I can find new pads at a good price since the MB-Tex is in good shape but the pads are bad and the cloth skirts need to be replaced.

I have a 116 that I am parting out, I could sell you the horsehair pads from the rear seat back and seat bottom if you still want them. The cloth seat covers are hosed, but the rest is ok.
Figure $30 plus shipping for both if you want them! |

Still Looking!
The seats offered by brandoncrone did not work out. Thanks to him for the effort, but it turns out the seat pads were damaged. Therefore I am still in the market for some good used seat pads for the rear seat of my W116 1980 300SD or the entire seat in Bamboo MB-Tex.

Crowe,
My Dad does upholstery, he has replaced a lot of my cars original equipment horse hair seats with foam rubber. Last longer do to the fact it doesn't break down like horse hair. If done right you cannot visibly tell a difference and its more comfortable too.. Just a thought.
