(I posted this earlier in "cars", but it's really just parts, so I'll try it here...)
OK, it's finally time to get serious. I'm never going to get around to fixing this thing, so maybe someone can have a crack at it:
1967 240D (last of the 115 series), automatic transmission, probably 160k miles (odo was broken for a while, though it's been fixed). Big problem is that it broke an oil cooler line & ran without oil until dead. Good opportunity for engine transplant, hobby engine mechanic, or parts searchers. Everything worked when it was running, though it was beginning to show its age.
All body panels, glass, trim, and interior are good, except for minor rust in the usual places. Most serious problems are ripped rear seat cover and lack of stuffing in front seats. Not running (see above), but I can deliver within 100 miles of Portland, Oregon for only a few $s gas money. No individual parts -- this is an all-or-nothing deal. Guessing it's worth about $800, but you tell me...
