240 flywheel.
in 2 conversions and over 50 kmi of driving I havent seen any ill effects (even w/o re-balancing)
Actually my first conversion was with a flywheel from a 220 D , they are much heavier than the 240 D flywheels (as are the 4-spds from them) and that did have some vibration, but the 240 one has none.

Grimgaunt, would you clarify fo rme a bit? Is this a set-up for either a 240D or 300D?

If so, please tell me more about what shape the tranny is in? I'm looking for a tranny and possibly the drive shaft for a Euro 300D, and if this one is rebuilt or in good shape, I may be ready to buy!

Any idea what the shipping might be on this? I'm in northern CA, zip 95470.

If you'd be open for a phone call, let me know, please (dmosel@igc.org).

Many thanks,

BioDougsel
