WTB: 1960's finbody 190Dc or 200Dc
Does anybody en route between Connecticut and Kentucky know of primitive 4-spd diesel for sale?
Am relocating this coming weekend and would drive 100 miles out of my way to buy straight body Heckflosse diesel..... I dont care about condition of the engine - as long as body is relatively rust free and the car is standard shift. Hell, it doesnt matter to me if the car has been sitting undriven for 20 yrs. So, please let me know if anybody is aware of primitive diesel benz in their neighborhood that i might enjoy as my next project. johnbald1@hotmail.com (203) 637-9540

I realize tht this has little to do with your quest for a fin body diesel, but I have the original exploded parts book for the car in reasonable shape. I had a 1963 190D during collage and acquired a bunch of stuff with the car. If your interested let me know.

Thanks for replies..... Sixto, I'd give $200 for that NJ car - knowing it will take at least $1G in parts alone. The best ebay finbody i've ever seen was $900 buy-it-now at Wisconson that somebody beat me to. Henry, you've got email - parts book would be great to have. I've also found 190D en route at Watkins Glen NY in car forum archives here.
