hi all,

after upgrading to 17's my 16's are up for grabs

16x6j
et 38
5x112 pcd
rear tyres are 205/55/16 - pirelli p600 loads of tread left
front tyres are 205/50/16 - bridgestones - just legal!

wheels are in good shape with no major curbing/rash.

one has a slight dink in the rim, barely noticable, wheel is balanced and no problems. looking for £200ish, delivery possible at cost dependant on location.

I noticed those wheels are very common in Europe (Germany), but in the States we don't have very many of those wheels. They come on the newer cars over there right? So those are OE wheels?

You should sell me the square mirror you took off of your car. Id buy that for sure. Ive been starting that trend too, over here. I got one mirror gave it to my friend, then he gave it to his friend, and so now I have to find two more.

Also, if you havent sold your wheels in a month or two, I might think about it some more.

the mirror i have is my drivers side, the bigger one. its a little damaged, the metal framework is busted a little but its yours for £10 (approx $17) plus shipping at cost if you want it. the glass/heating element/outside plastic casing are all fine. i'm not sure if you could use the original mounting parts from your mirror....anyway, the offers there, i can email you a pic if you like?

Those wheels are available here stateside. I have some on my W124, I got them from a 1996 E420. Mine are 16x7. Not seen as often here, as in the UK perhaps, but theyae around.

Q, I guess you are right that we do have them here, they certainly are quite rare. In europe most of the new CLKs have them, and E classes that dont have hubcaps have them.

Yeah, I see them here and there, not often though. They came new on E420's only, for 96'. Then in 97' they went to E430, with a 17" version, which is what i am searching for.

Yes. Your picture of the chrome is what I want, but just silver. The picture up top, from fireice is the E430 Sport, very nice wheel.

Did you sell your springs yet? I am waiting on Eibachs i think.

Austin, those are the rims I had on my E-320 that I replaced when I bought the other rims from you this summer. But my car is the SE, if that makes a difference.

Now I'm putting the originals back on with a nice set of snow tires for the winter. Don't want to junk up the summer rims!

Stefano, they look very similar, but I sold you C280 Sport wheels from a late model w202 car.

I am glad that they worked out well for you.

I think 16" wheels on 201s and w124s are the best size to put on.

HAHAHA! Yeah, I was referring to the original rims that came with the car that I now use for winter use with snow tires. The ones I bought from you are my summer wheels. I still get compliments on them.
