Forsale W123 Euro Lights
I've got a set of Hella Euro lights,
These are the later style 79-1985. They are used and come with connectors. They were purchased new from Puma. Lenses still look great- no big chips or any stars. These were removed before the car is donated. I'll double box them. There will be 2 separate boxes. Buy pays shipping, or will meet in the DFW area. These will hit ebay soon if there is no interest on the list. Got a bunch of stray W123 parts... Michael

Hey Michael,
How is the spring compressor for you? How much were you looking for on these lights? Are they both hella? My car has one bosch one hella, kinda weird. Do they have vacuum adjust? Let me know,

Well, let me see if I can provide some more notes,
They are Both Hellas purchased new from Puma in approximately 2000. Mine both have the vacuum adjusters. I've never hooked them up, so I'll assume the still work. The lenses look nearly perfect. Being close to new, the reflectors have nice silvering still. Comes with the turn signals lights. Spring compressor is GREAT. I put new brake rod supports on the car a couple weeks ago. Struggling with the many hardened rubber parts on the 124.030. I'm awaiting a current price qoute from Puma... then I'll settle on what is reasonable. Michael

Mine made noise at more speeds than 15mph.
I'd take a really good assessment of the rubber in the suspension- especially the lower control arm. You may want to replace everything, because the alignement cost is a significant chunk of the bill. I would probably replace the lower control arm bushing and the lower ball joint as well. Noting that these are a weeee bit of work. Yes, the brake support is the rod that runs from the lower control arm to the body. W123 brake support joints last a long time, W126's eat them fairly quickly. Michael

I bet that mine are bad. I have 560SEL brakes and I can really tell now.
Did you need a special tool for it? I had my suspension redone, ball joints, and bushings, etc, from some american butcher/clown, and he charged me 12 hours for labor....It was a bad experience and I think he used crappy moog parts. Anyway, my Benz mechanic said that I should have just taken the car to him (168miles away) and he could have done it with Lemforder parts, and to perfection for less time and money. Oh well. So next summer I want to redo all my front suspension and rebuild my steering box and make it tight again. mine is so loose from the miles. Back to the euro lights, sorry about messing up your thread. Let us know the price puma gives, I bet it will be way more than you paid for a few years back

Special tool?
I've got the factory spring compressor if that;'s what you mean? I'm aware of ppl whom use a come-a-long with bolts loose(and removing the front strut rod bolt, moving the joint tight), to allow sneaking them out. I've never been overly sucessful doing this on a W123. On a W126- it's a piece of cake!!! Moog is actually made by TRW and has a reputation of being good. The only thing suspension wise I've heard about Lemforder is their lower ball joints are easy to press in. I'm assuming that means they are not case-hardened like the TRW part. I've had too many piece of crap parts from Lemforder to ever suggest buying from them. I believe they've off loaded most of the older production part to Turkey! All aftermarket rubber is ussually Febi/Bilstein. No email from Puma- I'll call them tomorrow. Michael

I just got of the phone with Puma.
Current price is $650 US dollars for the Hella's(plus shipping). My price $275 USD plus shipping. They will come in the orginal boxes, which are flimsy- so I'll add a bigger outer box and packing material. Michael
