Jim,
This just happened to me and I went to Home Depot and found two copper fittings that I soldered together, then JB Welded into the stub. The two pieces kind of fit together, one inside the other, and made the fit at the stub snug, and left a ridge to grab the hose and clamp. It has worked fine for about two months now. Jim

Jim, **************.com sells a radiator neck reinforcment kit. I have one that you can have for $12 shipped in cont. usa. it includes instructions, copper insert, and epoxy. email me if interested. I didn't need it because my rad neck was already reinforced.
