78 300D parts! (Portland OR) CHEAP

I have a few parts left from this car, and I just want them GONE!
all 4 doors,
hood
grill
trunklid
front bumper
misc dash switches and parts etc.
random hubcap or 2

please let me know what you want! I am willing to practically give this stuff away, everything is in excellent condition.
ideally someone in Portland will want to pick up all the above parts for like $220... but I am willing to separate and ship.

I have a rebuilt transmission (auto) with 15 miles on it! He was on his way home from the transmission shop when the motor blew. (This was my neighbors car). I have reciepts to prove work done.

Random motor parts/ accessories... etc etc

thanks!
Joe

By the way, I know I am not well known on this forum, (duh, Im a Beemer guy), but I have an EXCELLENT reputation on various BMW forums, and on ebay. (userid is "Itsjustabmw")

I am a very verified premier member with paypal, (this is my preferred method of payment as it protects me as well), so no worries about that.

All I care about is getting this stuff out of my garage...
thanks!
Joe

How much for the latch assembly for the driver's front door (the one in the door itself)?

Thanks!

$30 shipped for the latch assembly, or $110 shipped for the entire door.... (this way you could sell the rest of it and come out ahead)...

let me know!
thanks
Joe

Just want to confirm, that's the part at the back top part of the door that comes in contact with the striker and attaches to the outside and to the inside handles?

$30 sounds good...

Actually, how much more would you want for the check strap for the left rear door?

Also, do you have a PayPal account? I actually need the latch PDQ (there is currently a piece of rope holding my driver's door shut )...

Thanks again!!

yep yep
how about another $10 for the check strap mechanism...
OR, I can throw it in for free if you purchase the complete drivers door

also, to avoid confusion, are you talking about drivers or passenger side strap? (Left side is a very fluid observation)

I do accept paypal, my address is FJtoys@aol.com

cheers
Joe

I'm talking about the driver's side strap; same with the latch...except I want the latch for the front door and the strap for the rear door.

Sounds good; I'll PayPal you $40 as soon as I'm done typing this message.

Thanks!

And I'd actually think about the whole door if I had a place to put it...

{on edit} Payment sent

How about the grill? I really just need the plastic insert, chrome condition is not important. The insert must be in unbroken condition.

I can use both front door switches that activate the dome light when you open the door. I'm looking for the round ones.

Joe,

Have the latch and check strap been sent out yet?

It'd be nice to be able to drive my car without a length of rope holding the driver's door shut...

Thanks!

And also your E-mail...it's been almost a week since I sent payment and no word on when the latch was sent, ETA, etc...and I really need that latch ASAP. I'm starting to get nervous...

Thanks again!

Did anybody receive any parts from the person who originated this thread?

I never received anything, nor did I receive a refund, in spite of repeated attempts to contact him over E-mail. He did at first promise to either send the parts out or refund me after not shipping the parts straight out. I asked him to ship the parts out, and haven't heard a word from him since. I still need a door latch for my 123...

Thank you. It may not be worth much (best I can tell, he wasn't a regular member), but I plan on reporting this to the moderators in a few days.

Not going to get in the middle of this as I'll assume anyone selling parts here is of only sterling character, but...

PM me with the exact part you need, I may have the latch you're looking for. If I have the part you need, I can just send it and you can pay when you get it.
