Gen 1 W126 vs. Gen 2 W126 wheel offsets.
I'm in the process of having some custom offset 15" steelies made up for my W123. Everything I've researched tells me the entire front spindle assembly is EXACTLY the same as a Gen 1 W126. I eventually want to go with Gen 2 front spindle assemblies with ABS. Question, is the distance from the face on the hub where the wheel bolts on to the upper part of the spindle where the tire will rub the same between the W123/Gen 1 W126 and the Gen 2 W126? I'm fitting the wheel backspaces up with the original W123 spindles so there will only be about 1/8" of clearance between the upper portion of the spindle and the sidewall of the tire. I hope that will remain the same when I eventually go with the Gen 2 W126 set-up. Going with 245/60-15 on front BTW.

all bundts created equal?
Are the factory 14" Bundt wheels that are on a W123, the same offset as the 14" bundt wheels on a similar year W126? Or were there different part numbers for W126 Bundts vs. W123 Bundts?
