16" Wheels, Tires, Spacers For Sale -- Upgrade for Earlier Models
Ebay items: 5 16" wheels with Conti Tires
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7918999202&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT Spacers to use the above wheels on W123 models and others. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7918996505&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT I don't normally post an ad on this site but these are great wheels, tires and quality billet spacers. I ran these on my 1983 300TD and really liked them. The spacer link has a picture of my 300TD with the wheels. They are slightly larger in diameter than the stock 14" wheels giving a slightly more relaxed ride at 80mph on the freeway. Tires are in great condition and will give long service. Thanks for the bandwidth.

Are you selling the wagon? Why the change of rims/tires? They look great on your wagon.

No not selling wagon
No can sell Daisy. I might be buried in her but never sell her. She's my daily driver but I recently retired and have piles of stuff around here that I need to clean up. So I had the original wheels with brand new tires sitting in one of those piles. Figured to recoup some cash and get rid of a pile. Lots of stuff for sale and I have a ton more stuff in this house (years of clutter, not all automotive related). So clearing the decks. I'd like to move out of SoCal but need to lighten the load.

The wheels loook very nice on your wagon.
Are you using 12mm studs, or 14mm studs? I believe the Sclass wheels have 14mm holes and a 14mm radius on the ball seat.

The spacers are bolted to the hubs with the original wheel bolts. The studs supplied by the machine based on telling them what wheel I was using. I have never had a problem with the studs nor the spacers. I torque to 95 on the spacer and then 95 wheel to spacer. I've run my 300TD at 90+ mph and it runs totally ture and straight with absolutely no vibration or pull. The 16" wheels give a somewhat higher gear ratio so running 80-85 is not as stressful, about 3000 - 3200 rpm is where I usually run and she surprises a lot of people.
The 5 wheels with tires and the spacer set would make a great addition to one of our listers cars and it is tried and proven on my car. There is no way I would mention this here if I did not have complete confidence in both the spacers and the quality of the wheels/tires I'm selling. All I can say is this package worked for me.
