What car used these wheels

I have these wheel centers 7 inches across with a gold star bolted on them hopfully my picture will work so you can see them I found them in the trunk of a W123 I parted out. I have not been able to find a picture of any mercedes using them. Tonight is about the 11 time I have stopped at the last second from unbolting the star and pitching the rest can any one tell me what car they were used on or are they from some cheap knockoffs.
Thanks
Dave S

From an aftermarket wheel for sure. Looks like from the 80's or so. Someone who is missing that cap would love to buy it as they must be hard to find. Stick it on Ebay.

it looks almost like the "beauty caps" (or something like that) that are sold from places like perf. products. im not sure though. the ones ive seen work with the 14" bundt rims and cover the entire center area.

Thanks for the responce

I can’t see the wheels on the white car well enough to tell if there the same. The other link I can’t find a car or wheel. I have litterly had this over the trash can ten times and stopped at the last second figuring someone would want them. Any suggestions for a title on an EBay add my knowledge of wheels ends at putting the hub cap back on after a flat and eBay has a ton of Mercedes wheels I don’t even know the proper name? Center cap? Would $20 be about right on the opening bid? If any one here needs one they can have it for shipping as long as there putting it on a car. Thanks for the help

Ebay has a tiered listing system, the cheapest listing fee is for items starting at up to 99 cents for a fee of I think just a quarter, so start it at 99 cents. You did say you were about to throw it in the trash? Put in the title at least Mercedes center cap since that is what anyone searching for one would search with.

I believe the caps you have belong on Mercedes Benz Deep Dish Chrome Slotted Wheels that were used on late '80s and early '90s SEC (Coupe) and SEL (Sedan). I've been searching for these same wheels for my '83 380SEC.

I found a picture of a SEC it looks like you might be right. I will no doubt end up sticking these in a corner some place so should you find a set of wheels in need of a center cap or two I have them waiting for you since I am a pack rat I will still have them in ten years. Thank you every one for your help.
