OFFset et31 looking for spacer ---->51?

I have a set(5 wheels) of nice AMG 18s that was for my 93 300e. How would one get it fit 99 s420 w/ et51. I do not understand how the spacers r utilize/mounted. 20mm spacer would work but bolt will be short?

Any helP w/ link for suggestions/ brands?

thank you.........Jason

If I understand you correctly, the wheels you have are 31 mm ET, and you want to mount them on a car that calls for a 51 mm ET.
How to you propose to move the wheels toward the centre of the car by 20 mm?
Spacers move the wheels toward the outside of the car.

As Manny implied, spacers reduce the offset. Installing 20mm spacers to ET31 results in offset ET11.

If possible - the only way to make a et31 wheel into et51 is to shave (remove metal) the mounting pad back by 20mm. Check with a wheel builder or a machine shop.
