hi..i am wondering which spring pad i should go with...i just bought some 17 in rims for my 89 300e, and am planning to get the eibach progressives soon...in their fitment guide the lowering height is described to be "oad." i know this connotation refers to the mercedes system of using "bump" pads...i was wondering, without taking into consideration the pad adjustment heights, what is the drop that is achieved simply by the springs? how much shorter are they than the stock ones? i am considering using bump 1 spring pads, which will lower the car an additional 15mm (?) i believe...can anybody suggests and input or experience about using the eibach progressives with the 89 300e, and which pad will be the most effective...i am aiming to eliminate most of the fender gap in the fron and leave about 1/2 inch in the back...thanks for all the help...it is greatly appreciated....

I had a 1987 300E. Used Eibach Progressive springs with Bilstein Sport shocks. I opted for 1 bump fronts with no rear spring pad. This leveled the car with my spring set.
