Will the wheels from a 1995 E420 (205-55-16 front and 225-50-16 rear) fit a 1991 300D? I am worried that since they are a little bit wider, especially in the rear, that this will be too much for the car too push.
Any thoughts?

The 205/55 16 sounds unorthodox to me, but I think the wheels should fit. 225/50-16 is the widest recommended size for your car, so you should be okay with that, too. However, for a definitive answer, I suggest you post this query in the Wheels/Tires forum.
