springs that dropped 2"
Hi guys,
anyone knows any spring manufacturers that make springs for C280 that will drop the car about 2"? I know eibach and H&R don't drop that much. If not, I am just going to cut the original springs. I don't see the point buying a sport springs if I still have to cut them 'til the car dropped to the point I like. Does billstein still have the heavy duty shocks? I have 18"AMG wheels with 225/40 in the car. Thanks! Denny |

If this is a W202 then SPAX do. Part#'s so23014 for 96+ and so23015 for pre 96. The drop is about 1.75- 2 inches. Take out the the spring pads or go with the number 1 spring pads then you have a significant drop. The springs are very good quality.
Don't go with the HD shock go with the bilstien sport shocks. Do not buy Spax shocks! Hope this helps. |

www.nopionline.com sells the pre 96 C280 spax spring kit for $150. If your car is a 96+ you might have to call them up.
