Question Correct tires for 1962 190 SL?

Hello, my Dad needs new tires for his 1962 SL and was wondering what would be the most "correct" tires to put on the car. They are 165/80R/13 but he was wondering if there is a certain brand that came on the car originally that he should stick to.

One other thing: are white-wall tires or black-wall tires more correct? And if white-wall, then wide or thin stripe?

Thanks!
