Thanks to this forum, I decided to take the plunge into the non-Michelin world of tires. I had 4 Yokohama AVS db 205-65-15 V rated tires installed yesterday and my early impressions are extremely positive. They ARE quieter than the MXV4's they replaced and handling and steering response is crisp. At nearly 1/2 the price, I am very pleased. Will report back as the miles add up.

I have the same tires on my 88 300E. The BEST TIRE I have ever tried on the 300E. In addition it is V Rated as it is supposed to be... Reasonably priced, too!
